The Trying of Men’s Souls

We aren't allowed to criticize Obama because he isn't a quite a white or black American. It doesn’t matter what sordid characters he aligns himself with. It doesn’t matter that he is a racist. It doesn’t matter that he is an elite socialist. It doesn’t mater that he’s a millionaire and pretends not to be. In fact, it doesn’t matter that he has blundered through the primary season, says nothing in his vapid speeches and has lost the last 7 out of 10 states. It doesn’t matter that everyone’s taxes would go up under an Obama administration. It doesn’t matter that our most dangerous enemies (Hamas, etc.) want him as president.
What matters to the white blonde girls on CNN and Chris Matthews is that we say nothing and nod in agreement with his statements, no matter how destructive, ludicrous and vapid.
We are asked to believe things that are not true and accept definitions of words that are incorrect. We are asked to accept the tyranny being rained on us.
